Eaglet cabin is a brand new purpose-built vacation rental that just opened in March 2020.  It's near our Eagle's Nest, Tree Top and Oak Tree cabins and, like them, is near the river, sitting up high above the river with an area to walk down to the river's edge.  It's part of an 18 acre "fish trap" location that was used by ancient American Indians hundreds of years ago

High Ridge

This log-and-stone style cabin is located high in the Blue Ridge mountains at around 3,000 feet elevation. It is in the same area as the Shenandoah National Forest and this property borders the park land. You will not see another human being for a half mile in any direction, but you'll see plenty of deer, bear, and wildlife!

Some notes about High Ridge: 

Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Early check-in or late check-out may be available, please feel free to ask!

Pets are welcome! Maximum of 2 dogs with a $50 pet fee per dog - No cats allowed, sorry!

PLEASE NOTE for November - March bookings: During these winter months, a four-wheel drive (4WD) or all-wheel drive (AWD) vehicle is required. While there are plenty of dry weekends during those months where a regular vehicle would be fine, you cannot know that in advance. Please take this warning seriously for those months. The rest of the year, regular 2wd vehicles are fine.

The open concept floor plan allows for plenty of mingling and family time, but when it's time to turn down for the night, everyone will enjoy their own private areas.

The loft hideaway area is accessible by a ladder, which is perfect for small children to sneak away for their own movie time, but only under the supervision of an adult.
