Nestled into a hill on the banks of the Shenandoah River, this cabin was purpose-built for river-side vacations. You can relax and chat with friends in the screened-in porch or roast marshmallows around the nearby fire pit while listening to the river in the background. The cabin also features wood flooring and trim, a cathedral ceiling in the living area, and tile floors in the modern, fully-furnished bathrooms. Outside, there's a gas grill for grilling hamburgers, a huge open yard, and - did we mention? - the riverbank so you can wade right out or take the canoes out with ease.

Because of the remote nature of the cabin, the internet is provided by a satellite provider. Because of this, video streaming is not possible without severely impacting the data cap for the month. If you stream video, the internet will most likely be cut off during your stay.

The base rate includes 4 people. Additional guests are extra, please read the itemized charges carefully and make sure to make your reservation for the correct number of guests that will be staying. Thank you! 

Pet Fee: $65 per dog ( max 2 dogs) - No Cats, sorry!

Our cabin is located on a beautiful bend on the Shenandoah river, complete with a picturesque view of the mountains in the background. There is much to explore outdoors, but the indoor space will keep you cozy when you want to kick your feet up.

The open concept floor plan allows for plenty of mingling and family time, but when it's time to turn down for the night, everyone will enjoy their own private areas.

The loft hideaway area is accessible by a ladder, which is perfect for small children to sneak away for their own movie time, but only under the supervision of an adult.

Prime location for canoeing, fishing, hiking & biking - the perfect escape to relax in the woods, on the water and to enjoy the sights and sounds of the Shenandoah.

Oak Tree cabin is a newly built vacation rental cabin.  It's near our Eagle's Nest, Tree Top and Eaglet cabins and, like them, is near the river, sitting up high above the river with an area to walk down to the river's edge.  It's part of an 18-acre "fish trap" location that was used by ancient American Indians hundreds of years ago.
